Hollander Home Fashions bestows third Leo Award

Boca Raton, Fla. – Hollander Home Fashions recently gave its third annual Leo Award to Bob Lange, special projects manager of its Frackville, Penn. plant.

Named for the company’s late ceo, Leo Hollander, the award recognizes a Hollander associate who demonstrates integrity, passion, vision, courage, honor, compassion, and commitment.

“Throughout Bob Lange’s 22 years of excellence at Hollander Home Fashions, he has shown an unparalleled commitment to integrity and honesty. He is truly a leader, and his hard work, dedication and personal sacrifice have helped Hollander achieve its current success today,” said Chris Baker, ceo of Hollander Home Fashions. “On the eve of his retirement, it’s fitting that Bob’s career be recognized with this prestigious award. Leo Hollander would certainly have agreed.”

Jeff Hollander, executive chairman of the company, said, “From the moment I first met Bob in 1987, I knew that he espoused so many of my father's values and wisdom. It has been a tremendous pleasure working with Bob, and I am thrilled to recognize his achievements.”

Lange will receive an elephant statuette to acknowledge his award.

Leo Lopez, a 28-year, Dallas-based Hollander veteran, was selected as this year’s runner up for the Leo Award. “Lopez has displayed an incredible work ethic, a large heart and a consistent helping hand during his time at Hollander,” the company noted. “His dedication and leadership are well-respected within the company, and his kind spirit and enthusiasm do not go unnoticed.”
