Fashion Industries brings Winderbaum back

New York — Table linen, decorative pillow and area and accent rug manufacturer and importer Fashion Industries has hired Carolyn Winderbaum as its new vp of design for table linens.

She replaces Westfield Kydd, who left the company recently to pursue other opportunities. Winderbaum is returning to the fashion industry after a five-year absence.

Previously, she was designer of decorative pillows for Ex-Cell Home Fashions. Prior to that, she was at Bess Manufacturing as vp of marketing, before joining Fashion Industries in several design-related capacities for the table linens division.

"It's like coming back home. A lot of the same people are here. And I feel great to be here again," said Winderbaum, who will be based out of Fashion Industries' showroom at 295 Fifth Avenue.

She will report to Joe Joiner, senior vp.
