New York -- The Court of Versailles luxury brand celebrates its 25th anniversary this year with the introduction of a limited edition duvet, Aviary, during New York Home Fashions Week.
“The Court of Versailles collection has been adding luxury and elegance to bedrooms for 25 years, and we are pleased to recognize this anniversary with an opulent duvet that truly captures the essence of King Louis XIV’s royal palace at Versailles,” said Hermine Mariaux, director of licensing for the Versailles Foundation’s Court of Versailles brand.
The Court of Versailles home collection is licensed to Springs Global US, which will show the complete collection during market week, including sheets, comforters, duvets, blankets, basic bedding, bath, and decorative pillows. Aviary, the anniversary duvet and quilt, was inspired by a textiles gift made to the French Court from the Emperor of China. Heavy surface embroidery of apple blossoms and birds sit atop an opulent sateen in subtle color tones. Shams echo the Aviary design.
Aviary is one of 10 new top of bed designs and blankets being introduced to the bedding collection in early 2007, and the anniversary year also marks the debut of luxury decorative pillow and luxury bath collections for Court of Versailles.
“Consumers are looking to bring the Court of Versailles stamp of elegance throughout their homes,” said Leslie Gillock, vp brand management for Springs Global. “We are excited to see this anniversary year also become a birth year as we launch new product extensions for Court of Versailles.”
