New York - Harounian Rugs International is introducing the geometrically inspired Metro collection to its offering of rugs.
"This is a must-have collection for today's design trends," said Lee Harounian, ceo of HRI. "Color, texture, design, style, price point and quality are all but a few of the creative considerations HRI puts into each individual piece it manufactures."
The rugs, available in 5 by 8 and 8 by 11 sizes, are hand-tufted of 100% wool in India and come in a palette of colors ranging from vibrant blue-greens and rich, rusty reds to soft pastels and neutral shades. Each rug features geometric patterns, including diamonds, concentric circles and clovers.
"We created these rugs using geometric patterns and earth toned colors to appeal to today's modern consumer," added Bobby Shamsian, HRI creative director. "We only use the highest quality wool with a thick pile to ensure the rug's usability."
