IFDA to present "Color Theory & Practical Application" at NYIGF

New York - The New York Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) will present a program on the exploration of color theory and its practical applications at the New York International Gift Fair and Home Textiles Market at the Javits Convention Center on Aug. 20.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast followed by the program from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m, It will take place in room 1A02-03 at 36th Street and 11th Avenue.
Doty Horn, owner of color marketing firm Color Voyant, and Lisa White, creative director of trend analysis firm WGSN, will present color trends for 2013-14.
The program is IDCEC approved for 0.1 CEU credit and AIA & CES approved for 1.0 credit.
For those who register by Aug. 17 the fee schedule is as follows: IFDA members: $25; guests: $40; student members: $15; student guests: $20.
After Aug. 17, the fee schedule is: members: $40; guests, $50; student members $25, student guests, $30.
