Lintex Bedding adds luxury throws to its mix

At the New York Market - Lintex Bedding Inc., the youngest but fastest growing division of the Lintex Linens and Cobra/Espalma family, is ramping up its merchandise offerings with the addition of throws this market.

The new throws, said vp of product and sales Cari Hamburger Kramer, are all high end and come in lamb's wool, cotton-wool blends, and finer yarns.

"Our throws are a great accessory to our sheets," she said. They are priced to retail for $79.99.

Lintex Bedding's sheet line spans 220- to 1,500-count products available in various compositions - including mostly cotton but also some cotton-poly blends, as well as flannel, jersey and fleece styles. And its blankets include 100% cotton styles in different weaves as well as high-gram quality fleece.

The new throw line targets the company's existing customers - high-end specialty shops, off-price chains, internet-based retailers and independent boutiques.

Lintex Bedding launched four years ago and, "in relation to Lintex Linens and Cobra, [our bedding] has grown at a faster pace than our other divisions over a short period of time," noted Kurt Hamburger, owner.

Lintex Linens is a table linens and kitchen textiles sources; Cobra offers bath towel ensembles, beach towels and robes.
