Target ramps up new BTS/BTC promotions

Minneapolis - Aside from the usual school supplies, dorm décor and apparel, Target's Back-To-School/College promotions this year also include customizable shopping lists, online deals and digital care packages.

The online shop includes new features that allow shoppers to create personalized shopping lists, find coupons and one-of-a-kind promotions for additional savings.

Shoppers can also find Target's seasonal offers on more than 65 college Facebook pages and on The retailer's "1,000 Likes" promotion this month will offer 40%-50% off coupons to the first 1,000 people to "Like" the deal.

Starting in September, Target is launching "U Care Cards" at Students can create a care package wish list and make it public on their Facebook page or through a personalized email.

Finally, for the 10th consecutive year Target will host private after-hours shopping events for incoming freshmen at 66 colleges and universities. This month and next, Target will bus freshmen to a private shopping event at their local Target store, where they will be treated to an evening of entertainment and exclusive offers.
