Shopko revamps website

Green Bay, Wis. - An enhanced shopping experience is at the core of Shopko's newly revamped website-commerce site, www.shopko.com.
Developed by Shopko's internal e-commerce team, the new web design incorporates improved layout, design, and navigation; user-friendly viewing from traditional PCs and laptops as well as tablet and mobile devices; updated product search capabilities; and new capabilities that allow users to shop national brands from the homepage with just one click.
Shopko said its customers have already responded positively and the site received high marks in focus groups.
"The initial feedback we've received from our customers on these improvements has been fantastic," said Mike Sidders, vp of e-commerce. "Shoppers have noticed and love the new design. They've complimented us on the ease with which they're able to shop and buy from the new site. This is the first of many improvements we'll make to Shopko.com, and I'm delighted to hear from our customers that the upgrades we've made thus far are resonating with them."
Shopko.com offers more than 10,000 products, including exclusive web-only promotions. The site also allows users to view electronic versions of newspaper advertising inserts, store locations, and the ability to refill prescriptions.
