Bardwil to make Vera Neumann table linens, kitchen textiles   

Atlanta – Bardwil Linens is the latest supplier to join the licensee roster of The Vera Company.

Bardwil has signed on to create table linens and kitchen textiles donning the vintage designs by Vera Neumann – or Vera, as she signed her works and is widely known, for whom The Vera Company is named.

This new partnership is deep-rooted, in that Nancy Kristoff, president of Bardwil, started her career working at Linens by Vera.

“This licensee is special to us,” noted “Susan Seid, president and owner of The Vera Company LLC, which was established in 2005 to license Vera’s 7,000 copyrighted designs. “We are looking forward to bringing exciting product to the market combining Vera’s art and Bardwil’s design and production expertise.”

Kristoff added that Bardwil “is thrilled to be a part of the revitalization of the Vera brand in home textiles. Table linens and kitchen textiles were core to Vera’s multimillion dollar design empire. To be able to bring these timeless designs back to table linens was very appealing to us. We will be able to choose from thousands of Vera’s designs each season.”

Kathy Haffamier, vp of home for The Vera Co., said the product focus will center on “happy, bold and colorful” looks by Vera, as these types of designs are “very important In the current economic climate.”

Other home textiles licensees of The Vera Company include Central Islip, N.Y.-based Creative Bath for bath coordinates and outdoor dining sets, and Mohawk Home for rugs.
