Mervyns Names Marketing Execs

Hayward, Calif. — Mervyns has appointed Terry McDonald senior vice president of marketing, and Robert Raible vice president of creative/marketing.
As senior vice president of marketing, McDonald oversees all marketing functions at Mervyns, including creative, broadcast, packaging, media planning, marketing operations, and public affairs. He is responsible for the strategic development, planning and execution of the company's advertising and sales promotion strategies and for marketing Mervyns owned- and national-brand products through various media vehicles.
McDonald joins Mervyns from Sears, Roebuck & Company, where he was vice president, marketing and merchandising integration.
As vice president, creative/marketing, Raible oversees all marketing creative functions at Mervyns, including print/collateral/outdoor, broadcast/photography, packaging, and sales promotion.
He is responsible for strategic brand management, creative development and production across all media channels of the company's seasonal sales and advertising campaigns.
Raible joined Mervyns in 2003 as marketing director, creative. Prior to that, he was with The Bon-Macy's, a division of Federated Department Stores, where he most recently served as the vice president of marketing creative.
