Luxury bedding designer Pamela Kline has signed a licensing agreement with Kid's Supply Company, the Madison Avenue emporium for children's and baby bedding.
The labels Pam Kline Kids and Baby Traditions will be joined by Kid's Supply Company for Traditions, creating the core of the children's division of Traditions by Pamela Kline. The new collection will debut at the Atlanta Gift Show, July 12-19 in the Traditions Showroom in the Merchandise Mart.
The Traditions brand, which favors classic motifs, will now introduce more contemporary designs with Lisa Bogatin from Kid's Supply Company. The arrangement will also make Kid's Supply Company's design concepts available to specialty stores and catalogs. Product will be warehoused at Traditions corporate complex in Claverack, and available for immediate delivery, according to the companies.
Each of the Baby Collections will take their direction from cleaner more contemporary fabrics used in bumpers, dusters, crib sheets and Kashmina blankets. Tangerine, citrus, lime, apricot, cocoa and sky will be the dominating color of the more urban collection. Price points will be from $15 to $130.
The new collection is comprised of four groups: Star Light, Star Bright for Girls, Bauhaus for Boys, Sherbet for Girl Baby and Baby Bauhaus for Boy Baby.
Star Light, Star Bright targets the tween market with tie-dyed matelasses, shag pillows and conversational sheets. Bauhaus, the Boys Collection, focuses on modern geometrics, updated ticking sheets and 1970s inspired corduroy looks.
