WONZ appoints Cobb to marketing and training director

Marietta, Ga. – Wools of New Zealand has appointed Hallie Cobb to its marketing and training director post.
For Cobb, her new stint represents her return to WONZ. Earlier in her career, she worked for the upscale wool fiber brand as its marketing manager.
She reports to Elise Demboski, executive director of North America for WONZ.
Before joining the company for this second time, Cobb worked as an agent for several high-end carpet lines. During her career in the wool carpet industry, Cobb worked for CCA Global as eastern membership director for the International Design Guild and has held several additional positions at the Wool Bureau and Wools of New Zealand.
Cobb will work part time through Jan. 31 as she transitions from her agent responsibilities into her new role. She will join Wools of New Zealand full-time on Feb.1, 2010.
In her new post, Cobb will be responsible for developing and initiating training that furthers the wool education of agents, mill sales representatives, retailer sales associates, store owners and designers. She will also manage retail promotions and incentive programs designed to support our partners and increase sales of Wools of New Zealand and Wools of New Zealand Laneve products.
“Hallie has been successful in every position she’s held,” said Demboski. “She has more than 25 years combined experience working for Wools of New Zealand, the Wool Bureau, CCA and as an agent. She understands every segment of the wool industry and will apply that knowledge to the benefit of our partners. I am extremely excited to have Hallie back and to team with her as we take Wools of New Zealand in new directions of growth.”
