Mohawk Home announces promotions

Sugar Valley, Ga. - Looking to adapt to the industry's shifts home textiles giant Mohawk Home is embarking the new year with a retooled executive team at its helm.
President Bill Kilbride officially shared with H&TT the news, which effective this week, reassigns some members of the staff.
"We're experiencing so many changes economically, operationally, and in the way the consumer shops - each of which effects both suppliers and retail businesses, causing us to look at and renew every aspect of our business strategy while also enabling us to give our associates the opportunity to expand their experiences and responsibilities" Kilbride explained.
Here is a list of the new appointments:
- Bart Hill, formerly vp/product management, is promoted to svp/ product management for both domestic and global production in all product categories, including area rugs, bath rugs, and mats. He reports to coo Rocky Casteel.
- Randy Gardner has been promoted to svp/sales, domestic and global from his previous post as vp/global sourcing and international sales. He reports to Casteel.
- Jim Quist, Craig Trimble, Kelly Moore, and Brandon Culpepper each serve as vice presidents, assigned to a regional, national, or specific distribution channel. Quist remains vp of sales. Trimble was formerly vp/product manager/area rugs. Moore served previously as vp/product manager/mats. Culpepper remains vp/specialty retail sales. All report to Gardner.
"These named individuals together bring over 200 years of experience in sales, product management, operations, and manufacturing with Mohawk, and this opportunity gives each a chance to continue to contribute to our growth as well as theirs amidst this dynamic period of change," said Kilbride.
