Rug Market Introductions
January 8, 2014-- Home Textiles Today,
AMERICAN DAKOTA INC.
Calhoun, Ga. (706) 217-9217
The company, which is participating for the first time at the Atlanta market, is adding eight new rug designs to its core offering. The patterns are inspired by old camp blankets and historic textiles from the Southwest. American Dakota said its dyes have been painstakingly matched to plant and mineral dyes such as wild walnut and rabbit bush. Some of American Dakota's color-infused rugs are reminiscent of some of the brightly colored trade blankets used in barter with the Native Americans.
The rugs are manufactured of EnduraStran-branded nylon fibers and are made-to-order and available in six sizes. All are produced domestically.
