White Plains, N.Y. -- Atelier, a special section dedicated to global textiles designers and studios that primarily sell their surface designs, is returning to Surtex 2014.
Atelier is designed as a venue for manufacturers touting trend-forward prints, patterns, repeats and documents in textiles, wall coverings, and floor coverings for industry retailers. Since its debut last year, Atelier will be populated by existing exhibitors as well as many new ones.
"The response to Atelier has been terrific, and with the growing demand for cutting-edge surface designs we anticipate a very dynamic marketplace in May," said Penny Sikalis, GLM vp and Surtex show manager.
Some 90 select studios from countries around the world, including the U.S., France, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, will unveil their collections at Surtex 2014.
