Troy, N.C. - Capel Rugs announced the hire of Boyd Marks as its manager of sales for Alabama and the Florida panhandle region.
"Boyd's proven success in merchandising, purchasing and sales made him the ideal candidate for this position," said Allen Robertson, vice president of sales for Capel Rugs. "Boyd will enable us to dramatically increase service to our furniture and flooring customers in these strategic market areas."
During his 18 years as a sales representative, Marks has performed traditional sales duties, overseen product displays, trained sales staff, monitored store operations and fostered relationships with key accounts throughout his territory.

Following store management roles with Farmer's Furniture Co. and La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, Marks embarked on his current career as a furniture sales representative, recently winning several sales contests.
