Eric Loges passes

Charlotte, N.C. - Home textiles veteran Eric Loges passed away in his sleep Tuesday evening due to a brain aneurysm. He would have turned 73 yesterday.
He was most recently Home Source International's vp of product development for bath. In his more than three decades in the industry, Loges also held senior management positions at WestPoint Stevens (now WestPoint Home) and Springs Industries (now Springs Global USA), in both cases working with every major retailer in America.
Prior to Home Source International, he was also involved in the initiation of off-shore sourcing for the two major mills for which he worked and established relationships with many of the world's leading manufacturers of terry towels.
Suvivors include his wfie Carole, daugher Sara, his sister and a niece.
Services have been set at Covenant Presbyterian in Charlotte on Friday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m.
