Classic Concepts fills two senior exec posts

Los Angeles - Classic Concepts Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of furniture, rugs, bedding and pillows, has hired Marci Jones as chief operating officer and John Moody as senior vp of sales.
Jones steps into a newly created position at the company. She was previously vp of operations at hospitality and high end custom furniture manufacturer Beverly Furniture. Prior to that, she was executive vp of Boyd Furniture, a top 100 contract/residential case-goods manufacturer. She started at Boyd in 1983 and rose to become executive vice president in 1996, serving in that role until the company closed its doors in 2003.
She reports to Harpal Singh, ceo
"Given our current growth in our divisions, Classic Home & Villa Home Collection, and our outlook for the next five years, I'm very confident of the important role Marci will play as we manage and focus our operations," said Singh.
Moody fills a current position at Classic Concepts and will report to Jones. Moody previously worked at Lane Furniture Industries based in Mississippi. As vp of sales built partnerships with both U.S. and international retail accounts.
"John is great addition to our sales team," Singh said. "He has extensive experience in the industry and will have a positive impact on our business growth."
