Stein Mart adds former Neiman exec to board

Tansky retired in 2010 after working for 23 years for The Neiman Marcus Group. His last post was as president and ceo, which he assumed in 2001. Prior to that, Tansky served as president and ceo of Neiman Marcus Stores.
Earlier, he was the ceo of Bergdorf Goodman, a division of The Neiman Marcus Group, and president of Saks Fifth Avenue.
Currently, Tansky is a senior advisor of Marvin Traub Associates and also serves on the board of directors of Donald Pliner Shoes and of The Howard Hughes Corporation.
