New York -- Negotiations between Macy's and JCPenney to settle their differences over Martha Stewart-designed home products have stalled, according to a report Friday in the Wall Street Journal.
On Thursday, Macy's and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia settled their own dispute but did not reveal the terms.
The two stores gave closing arguments in State Supreme Court in August and were given time by Justice Jeffrey Oing to reach an agreement on their own. According to the article, Macy's and JCPenney have had some discussions but have not come to an agreement on damages.
The lack of progress indicates a judge will have to resolve the matter, the report said.
