Inaugural Maison & Objet Asia ready to launch

Paris - The debut Maison & Objet Asia show will open next month in Singapore.
Modeled on the Paris-based home furnishings trade fair, Maison & Objet Asia will take place March 10-13 at Singapore's Marina Bay Sands Resort. The show will launch with 265 brands, with 30% of the exhibitors from the region.
The event's Designer of the Year will be Kenneth Cobonpue of the Philippines, who has won numerous awards for his work. In addition, the fair will showcase the work of five emerging Asian designers. They include:
- Mike Mak (Hong Kong)
- Denny R Priyatna (Indonesia)
- Lilianna Manahan (Philippines)
- Melvin Ong, Desinere (Singapore)
- Sittichai Ngamhongtong (Thailand)
- Lo Yu Fen (Taiwan)
Maison & Objet programming will include an interior design and lifestyle summit, trend workshops, and a conference about concept stores, among other activities.
