U.S. Olympic Committee partners with airweave for Sochi

Los Angeles -- The U.S. Olympic Committee announced a partnership with airweave, maker of premium bedding toppers in Japan that recently launched its product in the United States. Through the sponsorship, airweave will support American athletes participating in the 2014 Sochi Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
As part of its sponsorship, airweave will supply portable dual mode bedding toppers to participating U.S. athletes and coaches, as well as providing financial assistance to the USOC, which trains and funds the athletes and hopefuls for the Olympic, Paralympic, Youth Olympic, Pan American and Parapan American Games. The portable dual mode topper is firm on one side and soft on the other.
airweave will also be sharing their toppers with other Olympic delegations, part of their goal to improve the quality of sleep for approximately 1,000 athletes competing at the Sochi Games.
The company was founded in 2007 by ceo and president Motokuni Takaoka and launched in the U.S. in January.
