Ellery Homestyles expands management team

New York - Ellery Homestyles has announced a number of new hires to its senior management team, all new positions as the company expands, particularly in the bedding area.
Sandy McNeil has joined as vp of bedding. She spent 10 years with Hollander Home Fashions in several roles, finally serving as president of fashion bedding in 2003. Since 2004, she was senior vp of merchandising and sales for bedding and window for Beacon Looms.
"Sandy is a proven leader in developing and growing bedding businesses," said Hugh Rovit, ceo of Ellery. "Partnered now with our design, product development and sales management teams, she will accelerate our growth as the destination resource for licensed and private label bedding products across all retail channels."
Ellery will unveil a new 8,000-square-foot showroom for bedding products at the March 2014 market.
A second addition is Ilona Nagy as vp of e-commerce. She spent the last five years with CHF Industries as vice president of merchandising for bath.
"Ilona is a proven merchant and business manager. She will utilize those skills across current and new product offerings to accelerate the growth of the important b2b initiative of our retail partners as we develop on-line assortments for their websites," Rovit said.
Finally, Robin Helfer is the new coo. She spent the last seven years with The Topps Company as chief financial officer and before that vp of global operations and finance.
"Robin's broad experience in operations, logistics, process improvement and business mapping will serve to help us further drive efficiencies throughout our organization and supply chain," Rovit said.
