Swiffer teams up with Jewel

New York - Swiffer enlisted some star power to introduce its new Swiffer Sweep & Trap at an event last week in New York City: singer/songwriter Jewel.
Jewel premiered the "Clean-Up Song," for children at a crafting event in New York City - and then she cleaned up their mess.
The Sweep & Trap picks up small and large particles with no batteries, cords or power supply. It uses rotating beater blades to scoop up large particles, into a dirt bin while the Swiffer Sweeper dry cloth traps fine dirt and small particles.
The singer-songwriter performed for children at Make Meaning, a Manhattan entertainment destination, where they also enjoyed some edible and downright messy activities. Afterward, Jewel and the Swiffer clean-up crew picked up leftover popcorn, cereal, crumbs and large craft particles with the Sweep & Trap. Jewel's acoustic performance video and free download of the "Clean-Up Song," presented by Swiffer, are available on the Swiffer Facebook page, www.facebook.com/swiffer.
The Swiffer Sweep & Trap Starter Kit is available for a suggested $19.99 at mass merchandise outlets, grocery retailers, home improvement stores and online retail sites.
