Tarrytown, N.Y. - The work of artist Cynthia Coulter is now bedecking new Bacova Guild bath accessories collections that have been placed at both Kohl's and JCPenney this spring.

Cynthia Coulter, whose licensor is Roaring Brook Art Company, created several designs for the bath line, including "Peacock Colors" and "Sheffield".

"Peacock Colors" will be making its debut in Kohl's and "Sheffield" will be showcased in JCPenney stores starting this month.

Coulter began painting as a child with much inspiration from her grandmother, who was also an accomplished artist. Working in acrylics, oils and mixed media, she enjoys combining unusual elements together such as a romantic floral with an abstract or geometric shape. Her work is inspired by landscapes, flowers, leaves and other elements of nature.

In addition to creating decorative art, Coulter has had many years of experience as a designer in the wall covering field, and now bath coordinates as well.
