Alok completes Next Creations integration

Dallas – Alok International, which formed a joint venture with New York-based Next Creations in 2010, has now taken full management control of the company.

Alok now oversees Next’s branded business, its license with Charisma, the Raymond Waites Design brand in certain product categories and its private label business.

Michael Vidra will continue to serve as president of Next Creations and will report to Arun Agarwal, ceo of Alok, who will take additional responsibility as ceo of Next Creations and will sit on the company’s board of directors.

“We are thrilled about the new resources this will bring to our company which not only helps tremendously to service our current customer base but also helps in our aggressive growth plans including the new growing categories such as soft window, kitchen textiles and bedding,” said Agarwal.

“Alok is a market leader in the industry and I could not have been happier to see the control of the company going into the hands anyone better. I feel this will help the evolution of Next and will take it to the level I have always dreamed of,” said Vidra.

Both companies will show in Alok’s new New York showroom at 105 Madison Ave.
