Shelton, Conn. — Talalay latex producer Latex International said it has promoted Kimberly Fisher to vp of operations, overseeing day-to-day functions of the company’s human resources, logistics, purchasing and customer service divisions.

Fisher joined the company in 2013 as director of sales support. Before joining Latex International, she was a plant manager for Mueller Water Products Division in Texas, where she spent 16 years promoting continuous improvement and implementing lean business practices in the company’s gas products division.

Fisher has experience in supply chain management, human resources, team building, management information systems and customer relations, the company said.

“Since joining Latex International early last year, Kimberly has already demonstrated a high level of leadership that has been instrumental in streamlining our customer service processes,” said David Fisher, ceo of Latex International. “She has brought a tremendous amount of experience and talent to our company that has helped us with our aggressive growth strategy.”

David and Kimberly Fisher are husband and wife.
