Green Hides expands, recolors hair-on-hide collection

Greensboro, N.C. – Green Hides Leather Studio this spring is offering a reintroduction of its established Cavalier collection in an updated and expanded palette of 30 bright and neutral shades.

“Curating a line is a constant process; products need to be reexamined and refined over time,” explained Keith Hill, vp.

“Cavalier has been a staple of the Green Hides line for 10 years, and we anticipated a need for an updated palette and product.”

Cavalier is a grouping of drum-dyed solid coloration hair on hides that fuse Old World style with modern themes. Produced in Italy utilizing hand-selected European hides, Cavalier offers design opportunities for upholstery, rugs, wall covering and other accents. Tanning and dyeing processes are formulated using the latest technology standards for high quality leather, and Cavalier complies with the strict regulations and EU Directives covering the use and presence of PCP, Chromo (VI) and Azo dyestuffs.

Already, the company has seen elevated interest in its hair-on-hide offering, specifically in from the hospitality and residential markets, Hill noted.
