Eric Jent joins Design Weave as evp of sales

Jamesburg, N.J. – Eric Jent has joined Design Weave, designer and manufacturing of innovative sleep products and bedding solutions, as executive vp of sales.

He will be directly responsible for all sales strategy and development of Design Weave products for the US and Canadian markets. He will report directly to Henry Wang, founder and president.

Jent’s experience in the bedding and furniture arena includes posts at Simmons Beautyrest, Ashley Furniture, and most recently King Koil, where he was senior vp of business development.

“The opportunity to join an organization who is passionate about integrating innovative technology into the sleep system that compliments a consumer’s mattress purchase, is an exciting one,” said Jent.

Design Weave is a vertically integrated company with three owned factories in China and a new New York showroom. Design Weave also has the exclusive license to manufacture pillows, mattress pads, blankets, and comforters under the Brookstone brand.

“With the increased focus in product innovation within the mattress, Design Weave has technology such as Outlast and Cocona, to compliment the same phase changing properties in the bed with truly differentiated technology on the top of bed. In addition, the story the retail sales associate can communicate to the consumer to create a compelling story for add on sales, is very powerful,” said Jent.
