Boca Raton, Fla. - Hollander Sleep Products recently set the stage for Discovery Channel’s “How It’s Made” show in two of its manufacturing facilities - Munfordville, Kentucky, and Montreal, Canada.
John Trousdale, manager of Kentucky plant where mattress pads are made, said it was exciting for Hollander to have been selected for the show.
“We received the phone call that The Discovery Channel wanted to shoot the show in our plant,” he said. “The film crew were great to work with and did an incredible job filming around our employees as they were working.”
That happened just as Hollander wrapped up filming at its Canadian pillow manufacturing operation, noted Jannice Cameron-Chapital, Hollander’s svp of marketing.
“We recently finished shooting ‘How A Pillow Is Made’ in our Montreal plant…with the same film crew,” she said. “[In Kentucky] the film director was able to capture the entire process of making a mattress pad, from the fiber and material arriving at the plant, to the quilting process, through to the final packaging of the product.”
The show will air this fall on Discovery Channel.
Hollander Sleep Products welcomed the film crew from the hit TV show "How It’s Made" from The Discovery Channel.
