Downton Abbey forges license partnership for home categories

New York – British television series Downton Abbey, which airs seasonally on PBS and is set on the centuries-old English estate by the same name, is looking to become a household brand for home décor via three new licensing partnerships, one for bedding.

Downton Abbey’s licensing agent, Knockout Licensing, announced that Behrens Manufacturing, Rio Home Fashions, and True Fabrications Inc. will produce collections of home products that will launch at the upcoming markets.

Rio Home Fashions has been selected to produce a line of Downton Abbey bedding, including sleep pillows, comforters, blankets, mattress pads, and toppers.

Behrens Manufacturing is the brand’s new partner for metal household items, including planters, watering cans and other containers as well as wooden washboards.

True Fabrications Inc. is the brand’s licensee for wine accessories, cheese boards, slate coasters, and wine racks.
