Bacova names Norden vp, marketing and national accounts

New roles for Workowski, Chaplin and Hill

Covington, Va. – Bacova Guild Ltd. has made several changes to its team, including new appointments and promotions.

After a seven-year absence, Jeff Norden returns to the company as vice president, marketing & national accounts.

Norden began his career in soft flooring with a decade of experience leading retail buying. He then spent more than 15 years in national account sales, international product development and brand management. From 1995 to 2006, he worked for Bacova, his last role with the company as a business manager in its marketing group. Then in 2007 he founded his own company representing Natco Home and Crest Mills, among others, until recently to rejoin Bacova.

In his new post, Norden is focused on product and design development for rugs and doormats. He is also charged with leading sales for several national accounts, including Costco and Lowe’s. He reports to Phillip Essig, president and ceo.

Christine Workowski has joined Bacova as designer/photographer. Previously, she worked as a freelance visual communicator specializing in graphic design, illustration, advertising, and photography and as a designer for Frankl Creative Group.

Deseray Chaplin has been promoted to product manager for Bacova Floor. With the company since 1985, she has held positions of increasing responsibility over the years, including in areas of credit, customer service, and marketing.

Tamara Hill has been promoted to marketing and quality control specialist. She came to Bacova in 2001 and has since then held positions in the company’s credit and customer service and hospitality sales departments.
