New York – Portmeirion Group has debuted Ambiance, a new collection designed for casual entertaining.
The company said it sees consumers moving beyond traditional dinnerware to a more casual entertaining style that embraces tapas, themed game nights or just cocktails and dessert parties.
Inspired by the curves and textures of nature, the Ambiance collection features a combination of dining, serveware, bakeware and entertaining pieces in ceramic, glass and wood. The organic design carries a curved edge rim on all items and soft earthy tones of aqua, stone and pearl.
Wendy Motlaq, corporate vp for Portmeirion Group, called Ambiance a collection “for you to mix with the friends you love and the food you share.”
The collection includes a four-piece teardrop-shaped entertaining set in mixed materials and a four piece place setting available in four tones. The ceramic place setting is also available open stock. Serveware pieces include deep bowl, low bowl, 13" oval platter, two-pint pitcher, covered sugar bowl and creamer. A four-pint covered casserole and 13.5" roasting dish complete the bakeware offerings.
