New York – The Home Textiles Sourcing Expo at the Javits Center here returns next week with 135 exhibitors from eight countries as well as a new home trend area.
Co-located with Texworld USA and the International Apparel Sourcing Show, the fifth annual edition of the home event will take place July 22-24. The shows is organized by Messe Frankfurt, Inc. and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT TEX).
“The home textile industry is adapting to a new era and to new supply channels for sourcing,” said Dennis Smith, president, Messe Frankfurt Inc. “Together with our strong partnership with CCPIT TEX which has reached a five year anniversary, we are pleased to welcome back our returning pavilion participants from India and Pakistan.”
A complimentary seminar series sponsored by Lenzing Innovation, will include sessions on color forecasting from Pantone as well as bedding innovations and sustainability.
The show’s home trend area will provide a U.S. interpretation of the “Progress! Revive!” themes on display at the Heimtextil trend hall in Frankfurt, Germany this past January. The selection has been edited by Mark Woodman, creative consultant to the Home Textiles Sourcing Expo, who will be onsite daily for guided tours and discussion regarding the display.
