Balta taps Papa for new national accounts manager post

Dalton, Ga. – Balta U.S. Inc. has appointed industry veteran Chris Papa to the company’s newly created post of national accounts manager.
Papa brings more than 30 years of career experience working in home fashions.
His first job out of college was with J.C. Penney, where he spent 14 years in a variety of positions in the home division. He primarily worked as a senior bath buyer from 1983 until 1997.
From there, he went to Target Corp. as the senior bedding buyer – a post he held for four years.
Then he left to join Bed Bath & Beyond as the divisional merchandise manager for the bath division.
He made a switch to the manufacturer/supplier side when he accept a position at Mohawk Home, where he has spent the past 11 years as its vp of Midwest sales, responsible for directing the sales efforts to some of the company’s largest customers throughout the country.
At Balta U.S., he reports to Patrick Moyer, president of sales & marketing.
“It’s exciting to have someone as capable as Chris join our vibrant and energetic team of sales professionals,” Moyer said.
