How do you define your personal style?
In both home decor and in fashion, I would define my style as being right at the point where modern and classic meet.
Rag & Bone open-toe ankle boots.
What’s the thing you’d really love to buy next?
Philippe Starck Caprice dining chairs from Cassina. I would upholster them in Cassina’s cafe latte colored grain leather (both back and front) and add in the chrome legs. Second purchase would be a CocoCozy rug in my Lyrical pattern. I love the tone-on-tone colors and the large bold geometric pattern
What’s your oldest possession, something you would hate to part with?
Little gold hoop earrings given to me by my great-grandfather.
Peek-a-boo. The elusive home fashions designer.
The newest area rug and dec pillows at last month’s High Point Market.
The CocoCozy Flower rug in wool from Capel
Philippe Starck Caprice dining chairs from Cassina
On her nightstand: “Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn
Latest purchase: Rag & Bone open-toe ankle boots
What’s something about you most people would be surprised to hear?
I love action movies.
What’s your favorite meal and where do you like to have it?
Dinner is definitely my favorite meal. Location — Paris! That is fantasy, of course. In reality, as of late, I’ve loved cooking dinner at my little tiny cottage in the Hollywood Hills with my boyfriend, TE. He is an excellent cook, so it is nice to help him prepare a wonderful meal at home.
What are you currently reading, watching or checking out online?
My best friend, AM, recommended I read “Gone Girl.” I have it on my nightstand. Need to crack it open!
If you hadn’t chosen the career you have, what would you have been instead?
Since I work as an entertainment business executive by day and a textiles and home furnishings designer and blogger by night, I am actually doing everything I’ve ever wanted to do. I really love what I do for a living — on all fronts.
