Kenney acquires drapery hardware business

Will convert Levolor and Amerock to the Kenney brand

Warwick, R.I. – Kenney Manufacturing has acquired the drapery hardware division of Nova Capital Management Ltd.

After a conversion period, Kenney plans to transition the Nova products – currently sold under the Levolor and Amerock brands – to the Kenney brand.

Leslie Kenney, president and ceo, “The acquisition of Nova’s drapery hardware business will allow Kenney to optimally serve our customers through an expanded product line and improved manufacturing synergies.”

Nova, which specializes in portfolio buy-outs, acquired the drapery hardware business from Newell Brands in 2013 along with several other brands.

Kenney Manufacturing, which celebrated its centennial in 2014, is a privately-held manufacturer and distributor of basic and decorative drapery hardware, bath accessories and bath organization products. It serves all channels of retail and ecommerce customers in the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico and Central and South America.
