Nourison’s new collections brings fashion to the floor

Translates latest couture trends into rugs

Saddle Brook, NJ – Nourison’s latest collections are rolling out from the red carpet.

Drawing inspiration from the runways at the recent international fashion weeks as well as from last month’s 89 th annual Oscars Academy Awards, Nourison’s new collections aim to bring the fashion industry to flooring.

“Everything from dresses and evening gowns to coats and accessories are utilizing mixed textures and fringe,” which Nourison said it has translated onto its new Aldora collection of hand-woven texture and soft sheen area rugs.

Also new, the Michael Amini Brilliance, Glistening Nights and Zambiana collections are “right on trend” with lurex knits for an element of sparkle.

The new Divine rugs have natural, mixed textures enhanced with a subtle shine to accent their high-low, hand-woven fabrication.

And Silk Shadows, Twilight and the Calvin Klein Home Maya collections are all examples of incorporating shine to achieve quiet elegance.

“As interior trends continue to evolve, consumers are looking for unique and interesting pieces to cover their floors,” the company said. “A well-crafted area rug or broadloom carpet can serve as a focal point and highlight a space or it can be subtle and serve as a pedestal for other dramatic pieces in a room. Nourison strives to stay on trend…the goal is to have the right products that both high-end and value-driven consumers would be proud to have in their living space.”
