Design Source teams with heirloomed for bedding line

Four ensembles launch new brand

Atlanta-Design Source International is partnering with home and housewares brand heirloomed on a bedding collection.

Being introduced at the New York Home Fashions Market next week, the heirloomed bedding line includes four collections:

• The Hand-Stitched Collection, which features three basic stitches: the running stitch, cross stitch and mended stitch, each inspired by pieces of vintage bedding;

• The Inn Keepers Collection, which focuses on vintage-inspired touches like eyelash fringe, quilting, and textural details;

• The Southern Cotton Collection, which is set upon a neutral palette of white, cream and oatmeal tones, and is inspired by the cotton fields of the South in early fall; and

• The Holiday Collection, which adds a pop of color or a vintage pop of red, with an attention to detail in the stitching and quilting.

This is the heirloomed brand’s first foray into bedding. Founded by Ashley Schoenith, heirloomed is a home and lifestyle brand that offers both old and new heirloomed products such as aprons, table linens, small batch ceramics and wooden tabletop pieces.

“From the moment I saw heirloomed and met with Ashley, I knew Design Source was the perfect home for the brand,” said Kristin Kiseljack, president of Design Source. “Both companies cherish quality, authenticity, simplicity and vintage-inspired design which is extremely evident in the heirloomed bedding collection.”

The partnership was brokered by heirloom’s licensing agency, Jewel Branding & Licensing.
