Target: New home brand coming this month

Cloud Island nursery collection debuts with 500 skus

TargetMinneapolis – Coming off a better than expected Q1, Target will roll out a new home brand May 28 at all doors and online.

Cloud Island is the first of 12 brands Target plans to launch over the next two years. The nursery collection will debut this month with bedding and décor, then expand into bath and layette over the summer. The inaugural collection runs to 500 skus.

The collection builds off the response to Target’s strong children’s brand launches last year – Pillow Fort in home and Cat & Jack in apparel.

Elsewhere in home, Target recently launched a new virtual experience called 360 Shopping. Built around a living room, 360 offers integrated product assortments across four design styles: modern, farm house, mid-century and traditional.

The assortment includes furniture, dec pillows, rugs and décor pieces totaling 120 skus.
