Surya to bring new rugs to Dallas Market

New collections offer variety in construction

Cartersville, Ga. – Surya Inc. will be shining the spotlight this week on four key rug collections representing a range of different constructions and styles.

At the Dallas Market Center’s Total Home & Gift Market, which starts Wednesday and runs through June 27, Surya will display its expanded rug lines as well as new lighting and oversized art at its showroom, located in space 560.

The new rug collections are:

  • Tibetan, a machine-made collection comprising 12 rugs featuring a variety of designs and themes -- from traditional Bohemian patterns and center medallions to modern abstract styles, all interpreted in varying shades of gray paired with cream.
  • Marmaris, which is adaptable for indoor and outdoor use with its machine-made construction. In palettes of browns, grays and blues, these rugs come in solid, bordered and lattice designs.
  • Elise, a machine-made collection available in traditional to abstract designs interpreted on a distressed, antique look. The neutral palette has pops of color in blues, golds and purples.
  • Koryak is a hand-tufted, super-plush pile shag in bold, modern designs and subtle color palettes of black, grays and whites.

Surya will also tout its custom rug program, which allows for customer-specified size, shape and design.

“Catering our products to all potential design possibilities has made Surya a one-stop shop for our customers,” said Satya Tiwari, president.

Surya’s Dallas showroom will be open daily during market from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. All products displayed will be ready to ship within the summer market season.
