New Sega inks designer license for new bedding collection

Launch set for New York Home Fashions Market

New York -- New Sega Home Textiles Co. is unveiling a new bedding collection of artist-rendered watercolor floral and geometric patterns.

Via its recently forged licensing partnership with designer Sara Berrenson, also known as Sara B., the company will debut this new program during the New York Home Fashions Market, September 11-14.

The assortment includes comforters, pillows, shower curtains and other coordinates. And all will feature Berrenson’s signature hand-painted florals, intricate geometric patterns and other motifs.

New Sega Home Textile’s showroom is in suite 2303 at 261 Fifth Avenue.

The partnership was brokered by Jewel Branding & Licensing.

“Our goal at New Sega is to create high quality products with strong design, which is why we are excited to be partnering with Sara B. on this carefully curated collection of fashion bedding,” explained Vincent DeRosa, vp of sales and marketing. “We worked hand-in-hand with Sara to deliver an exquisite mixture of cheerful color and refreshing design that customers will absolutely love.”

Added Berrenson: “I am really enjoying working with New Sega to bring to life my vision for a chic and dreamy bedding collection. Inspired by my love for nature, color and textures, each piece of this collection has been meticulously crafted to bring a smile to people and fresh style into their homes.”

In addition to her new bedding line with New Sega, Berrenson is also expanding into other soft home categories, including hand-crafted area rugs with licensee Husain International, based in the United Kingdom.
