The upscale home furnishings company, founded by Portuguese designer Joana Aranha and her daughter Marta, will exhibits at the show, Aug. 20-23, in Booth 2640 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
Joining NY Now is part of the firm’s efforts to expand its market reach as shifts its attention to the Northeastern region.
Bunakara first debuted on the show circuit in spring 2016 at High Point Market, followed by Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market last summer.
And this past June, the company joined the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.
“In addition to the shows we are currently attending in 2017, we are committed to showing in each of them twice in 2018,” noted Dixon Bartlett, U.S. national sales and marketing director. “We are also actively investigating representation of the Bunakara line on the West coast, and are reviewing potential locations for participation in the Las Vegas shows in 2018.”
