Triangle Embraces the Outdoors
September 14, 2017,
Triangle is amplifying its outdoor business,
“Our business is really growing with outdoor,” said Allen Darwin, executive vp. “Outdoor curtains just blew out online.”
“This was a big Back-to-College season for us this year,” he said.
In addition, Triangle is going after an often-overlooked product category: the day bed. Its new six-piece day bed sets include a quilted bed cover, two pillow covers and a pair of quilted shams. The company drew designs from its top-selling furniture cover patterns to launch the collection.
Elsewhere in accessories, Triangle is getting good reactions to linen velvet pairings as well as more sophisticated textured solids. In its showroom at 295 Fifth Ave., Suite 221, the company has arranged the new collection by color.
“There are a couple of colors we see coming on: greens in a number of shades and yellows going more into turmeric,” said Darwin.
In bedding, the company is moving deeper into the BoHo trend but also showing medallions and coastal.
